This knife was built by Ontario Knife Company for Randall's Adventure Training, the predecessor of ESEE Knives.  It is the RAT 5 model with partially serratred blade.  The knife measures 10.5 inches in length.  The coated blade is a full 5 inches.  Blade steel is 1095 so it's easy to sharpen and holds a razor sharp edge.  The beefy blade is approximately 5/32 inch thick at the spine, and with full tang construction, this rugged knife is well suited for heavy work such as battoning firewood.  The partially serrated blade makes it an even more formidable slicer.  The Micarta handle slabs afford a tremendous grip even when wet.  This is one hefty hunk of cutlery that you can count on when the going gets rough.  It comes to you new in the box with an ambidexterous nylon sheath.
