Handcrafted in Ellenville, NY, this knife is built on the classic 509 "Little Finger" frame pattern, making it a highly desirable piece for collectors of Schrade's iconic fixed-blade family.

​This is a complete premium package that presents in near-mint condition, looking as though it spent its life tucked away safe in a collection.

​Condition Report:

​Blade & Tang: The high-carbon stainless steel blade shows a beautiful, bright satin finish with a crisp, complete "Schrade Scrimshaw" factory logo etch. Please note there are a couple of very light carbon pepper spots/storage specks on the blade face, and some typical light oxidation/darkening along the exposed spine/tang metal as clearly shown in the close-up photos. The edge remains factory-sharp. Tang is stamped "Schrade USA SC509".

​Handles & Bolsters: Flawless cream-colored Delrin handles with an incredibly detailed factory scrimshaw scene of a Bald Eagle clutching a fish on the front (art by Frank Giorgianni Sr.), and a classic open shield cartouche on the reverse. No cracks, chips, or shrinkage. The integrated bolster area shows minor age patina but is bright.  

​Packaging & Sheath: The display box is sturdy and tight with strong corners, showing only very minor edge shelf wear and tape shadow from decades of storage. The paperwork is flat and crisp, and the leather sheath looks virtually unused.
