Imperial bought the hammer brand trademark in 1936. NY Knife closed in 1931. This fixed blade drop point hunter has the Hammer Brand USA tang stamp that was used from 1945 to 51. Mint in its original leather sheath, the couple of tarnish spots will clean up with elbow grease. Factory edge, tight and mirror polished. two brass birds eye rivbets hold down the jigged black fiber handlesiptical brass guard. 8 3/4".
