ROMO Rosenbaum & Mogal 9 1/4" OAL Original Sheath Stacked Leather Solingen Germany Spacers
Isaac Rosenbaum and Mitchell Mogal were the largest knife importers and had the largest retail store in NYC in the 1920s. They split in 1924, Mogal keeping the ROMO logo and Isaace kept the Iroskeen mark. They were mainly inporting Solingen knives from Germany before WWII. This knife has a nearly full blade with a few honing scars. Tight, no defects, stacked leather handles and a full tang with a pewter filled pummel. made before WWII, comes with its original tooled leatrher sheath. Tang stamp is the ROMO arrow logo Solingen Germany/Solingen.
