Handcrafted in El Cajon, California during the iconic 1972 to 1985 production era, this slim profile tool has been a trusted favorite of outdoorsmen for generations.

​This knife is in honest, vintage user condition with plenty of field-tested character, but it remains structurally solid and ready to go right back to work.

​Condition Report:

​The Blade: The 440C high-carbon stainless steel blade shows heavy, honest vintage scuffing, scratches, and sharpening marks across both faces from years of dedicated use. However, as noted, the blade edge is clean with no nicks, chips, or rolls, holding a strong utility profile.

​Handle & Guard: The classic black phenolic composition handle is tight and structurally sound with typical light handling pocket scuffs but no cracks or deep gouges. The aluminum guard and pommel show honest surface marks and dings from field use. Guard is completely solid with zero wobble.

​The Sheath: Comes with the original vintage Buck black leather wrap-around belt sheath. The leather is well-broken-in with heavy surface finish scuffing, weathering, and edge wear from years on a belt. The factory stitching remains completely intact and the original Buck logo brass snap button functions tightly. The rear of the leather is stamped 118.
