How to Offer Your Knives for Sale

Please fill out the form below to let our trusted AAPK buyers know about the knives you’d like to sell. The more detail you provide, the better — it helps buyers make informed, fair offers. If you prefer an in-person exchange, consignment arrangement, or have other preferences, feel free to include that in your description. Some buyers may be able to accommodate.

  • Contact Info: Enter your name, state, and at least one way for buyers to reach you — either an email address or phone number is required. Providing both is helpful but not necessary. Don’t forget to select your preferred contact method so interested buyers know how to reach out.
  • Images: Please include group shots of your knives from various angles to give buyers a clear sense of the collection. Close-ups of key knives or details you think are important are also encouraged. The more photos you can provide up front, the better — but additional images can always be shared later if a buyer requests them.
  • Description: Share relevant details about your collection — quantity, brands, estimated age, condition, or anything else you'd like buyers to know. You may also include any preferences such as requesting a consignment arrangement or an in-person exchange.

After submitting, verified AAPK buyers may contact you with lump-sum offers or consignment proposals. If you accept an offer, you and the buyer can agree on the best way to complete the exchange — whether by shipping, meeting in person, or another arrangement. Payment will follow based on the agreed terms.

Once you submit your collection information, trusted AAPK members are notified. Those interested may reach out with a lump-sum offer to purchase your knives directly — without the delays of auctions or listing processes. If shipping isn’t your preference, you’re welcome to request a local, in-person exchange or consignment arrangement. Many buyers are flexible and may be open to meeting when practical.

How It Works

  1. Get an Offer
    Our buying members will review your submission and may reach out with a lump-sum offer or a consignment proposal, depending on what you’ve requested and what works best for both parties.
  2. Finalize the Terms
    If you accept an offer, you and the buyer can choose the arrangement that works best — shipping, in-person exchange, or consignment. Shipping instructions will be provided if that’s the agreed option.
  3. Get Paid
    If you choose to ship your knives, payment is typically issued once they’re received by the buyer:
    • Direct deposit: Typically within 1–2 business days
    • Check by mail: Usually within 3–7 business days
    For in-person exchanges, payment terms can be arranged directly with the buyer at the time of the meeting.
