Tak Fukuta Drop Point Damascus Hunting Knife w/Smooth Stag Handle Japan #SM351

This is a scarce vintage hunting knife made by Tak Fukuta in Seki, Japan circa early 1980s. It features beautiful smooth stag scales with nickel silver guard, bimetalic pins, lanyard hole and incredible damascus steel blade stamped "Hand Made Tak Fukuta" on one side and "SM351 Japan" on the other. Includes a finely crafted tan sheath. Tak Fukuta was the first Japanese member of the American Knife Maker's Guild, and apprentice to Bob Loveless. He hand crafted fine quality knives that impressed his mentor. Over the years, his factory in Seki, Japan also produced knives for Parker, Valor, Gutmann, Explorer, Frost, and Browning among others.
