This Kanetsune fixed blade fighter was made for the A.G. Russell company in Seki Japan.  Every white steel knife I have had or handled has had one of the sharpest blades I've ever encountered and this one is no exception.  The 15 layer white steel Damascus still has the hammer marks in the dark area.  The blade is nicely ground to expose the layers of steel in this beautiful blade and it's sharpened expertly.  The blade has not been used or resharpened.  The handle and sheath of this knife are cherry wood bark.   Thanks to a fellow AAPK member he emailed me a picture of the 2006 description that A.G. Russell had in his catalog for this knife, picture included above.  This is cherry wood bark that has been softened until it can cover the entire handle and sheath.   The blade measures 4 7/8" and the overall length is 9 1/2".  Comes with a wooden sheath made from matching wood.  Free shipping within the USA.
