This traditional pattern features a primary clip point blade on one end paired with a smaller secondary pen blade on the opposite end. It was proudly manufactured by the Frontier Division of the Imperial Knife Company in Providence, Rhode Island.

​The knife is in 100% dead-mint condition. It has never been carried, used, or sharpened, and features completely mirror-bright, spotless steel. It is a true time-capsule piece that presents exactly as it did coming off the line decades ago.

​Blades: Pristine, 100% mint condition with a flawless factory satin finish and the razor-sharp original factory edges. There are absolutely no carbon pepper spots, tarnish, or storage patina anywhere on either blade face or along the backsprings. The main blade tang is cleanly stamped "40P2 / IMPERIAL / U.S.A." on the mark side and stamped with the traditional Frontier Powder Horn logo on the pile side.

​Handle & Bolsters: Flawless smooth cream-colored composition scales with no cracks, scratches, or shrinkage. The solid brass pins are bright, and the inlaid silver-tone Frontier Powder Horn shield is tight, centered, and completely flush. The nickel silver bolsters are bright with no pocket scuffs.

​Mechanism: Exceptional walk and talk. Both blades draw smoothly with tight, snappy backsprings, zero blade play, and snap shut with true factory authority.

​Box: The original brown cardboard factory box is exceptionally crisp, solid, and clean with all end flaps fully intact and minimal shelf wear.
