Imperial Hammer Brand Candy Stripe Toothpick Switchblade
Very nice Hammer Brand USA Candy Stripe. Made between 1945 and 1955, this knife measures 7.5" open and blade length is about 3.25" The blade has not been sharpened and is nice and full. Does have some light use scratches and some patina yet presents very well. Hammer Brand USA logo is nice and clear. The knife fires and locks up well. It has a litte bit of the wobble that is always present with these knives but is better than commonly seen. The blade sits deep when closed and the safety works. Overall a beautiful old American pre-ban switchblade.
