Hammer Brand USA Toothpick Auto
Very nice Hammer Brand USA automatic. Made between 1945 and 1955, this knife measures 7.5" open and blade length is about 3.25" The blade has not been sharpened and is nice and full. Does have some light use scratches and slight patina yet presents very well. The cracked ice celluloid wrapped scales are in beautiful condition. The knife fires and locks up well. It has a bit of the wobble that is always present with these knives but is better than usual with these. The blade sits deep when closed. Safety works. Overall a beautiful old American pre-ban switchblade.
