Schrade Cut Co 1543 3/4 Switchblade Knife, Replacement Brain Wormgroove Scales, Used. I am new to Pre-Ban American Switchblades and am learning as I go. I always do my best to give accurate information about the knives I sell including what it is and the condition of the knife. Sometimes I make mistakes so please let me know if what I say is innacurate or misleading. 

One helpful thing for me getting into older American Switchblades is that I am friends with the guy that wrote the book on these knives so I have him as a resource. He's been very helpful with knowledge on descriptions and values however he also (rarely!) makes mistakes.

- The knife is used. The blade was cleaned and has slight loss from sharpening. The blade is off center with the tip right at the top of the liners when closed. I don't see any other condition issues. See the pictures as they represent the condition accurately. 

- Functions well and fires strong. It has a leaf spring and a working safety. The blade does not lock up well and has play in all directions when open. 

- Approximately 8.75 inch total length with 3.75 inch blade. 

- Knife only.
