​Up for sale is a classic vintage Schrade+ USA LB7 Bear Paw folding lockback knife, paired with its original brown leather belt sheath. Proudly manufactured at the Ellenville, New York factory, the LB7 is one of the most legendary, heavy-duty American folding hunters ever designed.

​This knife has spent a lifetime in the field and is in rough, heavily-used condition. It makes a perfect no-worries truck knife, a restoration project, or an honest vintage piece to drop right into a toolbox.

​Condition Report:

​The Blade: The stainless steel blade shows heavy field use with uniform scratching, scuffing, and minor pitting on both faces. Due to a lifetime of repetitive sharpening, the blade profile is a touch short compared to factory original specs. The tang is cleanly stamped "SCHRADE+ / U.S.A. LB7".

​The Handle & Mechanism: The dark hardwood handle scales are structurally tight with a nice pocket-worn smoothness. The solid brass bolsters show heavy dings, character dents, and surface scuffs from real-world impacts. The lockback mechanism engages securely, and the blade features a solid snap with typical light lateral play expected of a heavy user.

​The Sheath: Includes the original vintage Schrade leather belt sheath. The leather is heavily broken-in, soft, and shows deep surface scuffs and minor edge wear, but the stitching remains intact and the logo snap closure holds tight.
