Oh, if only knives could talk.  Can you imagine the tales this one could tell?  Tales of campouts long ago; tales of all the outdoor adventures perhaps a couple of generations might have enjoyed with this great old knife in the pocket of someone living their best life. This old scout is stamped Schrade Cut. Co. Walden N.Y.   It has seen a lot of use as attested to by the significant blade loss from sharpening on the main spear blade.  Still, all blades and implements open and close with excellent snap and no wobble.  The antique jigged bone handles are chip and crack free, however there is a scratch on the pile side that runs from the bone and into the bolster as shown in the attached photos. With groved bolsters, a bowtie shield, and a nicely swedged main blade and presto-lite key built into the can opener blade, this is one fine old knife.  If you're one with an appreciation for quality old school American cutlery perhaps there's a spot in your collection, or even your pocket for this relic of days gone by.
