This is a **RARE** Very Early IMPERIAL KNIFE CO 2-Blade Equal End Jack Folding Pocket Knife with a Carbon Steel Spear Point Main Blade with a Common Nail Pull, Carbon Steel Pen Secondary Blade with a Common Nail Pull, a Nice Set of Multi-Shaded Mostly Green Marbleized Look Celluloid Scales in Excellent Condition with No Cracks, Splits or Missing Chips, a Nickel Silver Crest Shaped Style Shield Inlaid Flush in the Front Scale, Three (3) Brightly Polished Nickel Silver Handle Pins in Each Scale, Brightly Polished Nickel Silver Rounded Bolsters and End Caps, Brightly Polished Brass Liners, Two Steel Back Springs with No Cracks or Breaks, 3 3/8” in Length, Made by the Imperial Knife Company in Their Very Earliest Days with the Earliest Known Tang Stamps Used in the Early 1920’s.

This is a **RARE** very early hard to find Imperial Knife Co.2-blade Equal End Jack Folding Pocket Knife made in the earliest  days when Imperial was making high quality knives. The knife has a carbon steel spear point main blade with a common nail pull. Both faces have scratches from use plus some scattered very light micro-pitting. Stamped on the front tang is one of the two earliest known Imperial tang stamps with IMPERIAL (straight op top and under arched on the bottom)(over) PROV R.I. (Up arched on top and straight across on bottom).  The knife has a carbon steel pen secondary blade with a common nail pull. The front face has some scratches from use and a little bit of light pitting mainly up near the blade tip.  The rear face is cleaner with scratches from use and some scattered light staining and micro-pitting down closer to the tang. Both blades have excellent and hard snap on open and good snap on close.  The knife has a very nice set of multi-shaded, mostly green, marbleized look celluloid scales. They’re in excellent shape with no cracks, splits or missing chips.  The knife has a brightly polished nickel silver crest shaped shield inlaid flush in the front scale.There are three (3) nickel silver handle pins in each scale.  The knife has brightly polished nickel silver rounded bolsters and end caps. The liners are polished brass. The knife has two steel back springs with no cracks or breaks and both continue to perform the functions they were designed to perform. This very nice vintage & Very Early, Early 1920’s, with one of the two earliest known tang stamps used by Imperial, 2-Blade Equal End Jack Pocket Knife is 3 3/8” in length.
