I'm not sure if Pressbutton ever made this knife in ebony although they produced many of its patterns in ebony in the early years. As stunning as this knife is, it has been rehandled and resided in my collection for many years until recently. Its time to let this one go as I've come across a better example. Measures approximately 4-5/8" closed and 8-3/4" open with killer post-production ebony handles. Blade has been used and cleaned to a satin finish with some light pitting remaining. Sits deep and deploys fully but locks up a ltttle loosley, as these are known for. Some pitting on tangs as pictured. Just a great representation of what the Pressbutton Knife Co may have or should have come out with at the turn of the century. Looks great displayed next to the embossed aluminum version we so often see.
