BOLSTERS:   Nickel silver bolsters on the 34OT

SHIELD:   Old Timer shield on both knives.

HANDLES:   Black saw cut Delrin on both knives 

BLADES:   34OT - clip, sheepfoot & Spey blades

LINERS:   Brass on the 34OT

TANG STAMPS:   SCHRADE/U.S.A. 152                      and            SCHRADE/U.S.A. 34OT

CONDITION:   New Old Stock in box knives appeared to be Mint Condition

DAMAGE:   No damage noted to knives, there is a small crack in the plastic beneath the 34OT. I believe I caused the crack when I removed the knife. Do not believe the 34OT had been removed from the package before. The 152OT was easier to get out of the box; I think it had been removed.

SNAP:   The 34OT stamps like a new knife.

ADDITIONAL INFO:   I do not know when this set was made but obviously it was made before the closing of Schrade in 2004. The box is printed with the Harley-Davidson Motorcycles logo on the outside of the box and on the insert that holds the knives. Both knives are etched with Harley-Davidson on the blade. The Sharpfinger has a black leather sheath. It does come with Use & Care Of Your Schrade Knife and Limited Lifetime Warranty information paperwork. Both are printed on one piece of paper. Paper is under the insert in the box. The only thing that I see about this set that someone might see as a negative is that the preserving oil Schrade put on the blade has dried and become a little gummy and consequently some of the fuzz from the flocked insert has adhered to the residue. You can see that haze or dirt in the pictures on the blade. This sort of residue usually cleans off fairly easily with lighter fluid, I think fingernail polish remover works and I think gout Goo Gone works well to remove it also. As a collector I see this residue as a good sign that no one has messed with the knife and the preserving oil has protected the blade to this point. I will leave the knives uncleaned for the new owner to decide how he or she would like to preserve them. This is a really nice set for the Schrade collector, for the Harley-Davidson collector or for the Schrade Sharpfinger collector. It’s obviously an SFO made for Harley-Davidson or one of their licensees so I have no catalog references for this set. I have no idea how rare it was or wasn’t. In my years of Schrade collecting this is the only set like this I have seen, but I’m only one man among millions of Schrades.
