I think the tang stamp is a '45 -'55.
Safety works fine, both open and closed. Nice opening spring, small bit of wobble.
About 4 1/4" closed, 7 5/8" open.
Please see the photos of the corrosion on the lower bolster. Also, the blade has some tarnish on it too that doesn't show in the photos that well. The close up with the patent numbers is the best shot of it. It seem like the finish wore off there.
