Imperial Jack knife
This is a Imperial jack knife. Its 3 3/16 inches long closed. With shell type handles. The master blade is a clip. Snaps in both directions with half stop. There is a bit of play when the blade is open. There is some acid etching and patina. The tang stamp reads "Imperial" over "Prov. USA". The secondary blade is a pen. Snaps in both directions. With half stop and no play when open.There are 2 patent numbers stamped on the tang. They refere to the handle construction. The top number is 2170537 and the bottom number is 228171782.
