ADDITIONAL INFO: There are a lot of things about this knife that are very different from what one would expect to find from a knife bearing the 885UH tang stamp, it is not an 885 blade configuration. To start with the number on the box says 889PM. I got a few of these knives about 10 years ago, when people were selling knives from the Schrade bankruptcy sale online. These knives were an SFO (special factory order) made for Purina Mills, a company that produces a lot animal feed. These knives had no shield on them, but I had a shield that fit this one so I installed it. I do not know what the original shield was. I think these were extra knives that were left over after the special order was filled at Schrade, probably for warranty replacement purposes. This is an interesting and very useful pattern, the large clip blade, a good general utility blade, a serrated sheepfoot blade, a great group cutting tool and lastly, a punch. Definitely made for someone who works around livestock! Whether you collect manufacturing oddities or just a great knife for using around cattle and horses, this is it. The black and brass coloration is very striking; the serrated sheepfoot blade is excellent for cutting rope in the punch is always handy when dealing with leather.
