ADDITIONAL INFO:      The 885UH first appears in the Schrade catalogs in 1970 and was listed in all the catalogs until Schrade closed in 2004. When the 885 was introduced in 1970 it was called the “King Ranch.” Sometime in 2002-2003 the name was changed; in the 2003 catalog, (printed in late 2002), the name was changed to Senior Ranch.”  I supposed the name change makes sense after a fashion, as the 885UH is essentially the same knife as the 8OT, except it has stainless steel blades and Staglon handles as opposed to the saw-cut Delrin handles on the Old Timer. I just wonder why they waited 32 years to change the name? In any case there is a great knife for your collection or for your pocket!
