Here is a very rare near mint vintage U.S.A. 1958 - 1963 Schrade Old Timer 5OT Bruin lock back pocket knife with 1095 carbon steel blade rather than the usual stainless steel.  Blade is full and has excellent snap in opening and closing, and appears to have the factory edge only, bright, clean and unmarked with no carbon steel pitting or stains and locks up tight when fully opened (no play).  The Green saw cut Delrin scales are unmarked with no pressure splits, and the brass bolsters and Old Timer name plate inlay are also perfect.  Knife closed measures 3 3/4" in length.  The pressure release lever in closing the blade works freely. These rare vintage carbon steel blade Bruins are extremely hard to find, especially in this fine condition and I suspect this knife has been part of a vintage knife collection for many years and was very well cared for and properly stored.  If looking for a carbon steel easy to carry lock back pocket knife, this may be the knife you have been looking for.  Knife will also include a new nylon belt sheath.
