one GEO SCHRADE.  .blade snaps open fully and quickly  blade has pitting or black patina stains  I believe it is not paint  I did not try to clean the blade I did use break free oil to keep the knife rust free and moving as designed. everything  rlse is beautiful  and no cracks or chips .  check pictures  .  of Bridgeport, CT, likely between 1929 and 1955. this is the civilian  model .  While it shares a strong resemblance to the military-issued M2 Paratrooper knife, this "Hunter" model is often considered a civilian or "non-paratrooper" variant.    Key Identification Features

  • Handle Material: The knife features painted black metal handles textured to resemble "imitation stag" or "jigged bone".
