ADDITIONAL INFO:      This pattern is an original Schrade Cut Co pattern. The Schrade Cut Co number was 7164-1/2WPH. The pattern was carried on in Schrade Walden as the 716 and the pattern was discontinued in 1965. The original price in 1965 was $3.95. Don’t you wish you could buy a dozen at that price now?

 

This knife has great snap for an old Schrade Walden. Normally they don’t have this much snap, even when they are new. The French ivory celluloid handles on this knife or in very good condition, aside from a few nicks in the handles from change or keys in someone’s pocket. I see no discoloration to the celluloid and there is little if any shrinkage from the bolsters. This is an excellent knife for one that is 50+ years old! Added to your collection today!
