This unique jigged bone 3-pin knife is Girl Scout model GS#ll-305 and each of the automatic pen blades locks separately as designed. In the included 1944 catalog, it refers to this knife as an "automatic safety knife" which automatically opens and locks the blade where the second blade is hinged from the opposite end. This is the only 3.375” Presto double automatic knife ever manufactured with a permanent bail. This knife never had an Official Girl Scout shield and the original blade etch is very faint under loupe magnification but I am representing this knife as having no etch to be as neutral as possible. See the snippet from Antique American Switchblades which substantiates that the "jigging pattern and the bail are dead giveaways even if the etch is gone from the blade".
