This is a Schrade 8OT with carbon steel blades that had been repaired and modified.

The Main blade has been replaced with a NOS Schrade Heritage H889 blade, and the knife has been rehandled in Elk antler with red G10 spacers.

All blades are now pinned through (rather than the original Swinden key construction).  The main has great opening and closing snap.  The spey secondary is a little tight, but snaps well.  The sheepsfoot snaps well, but there is blade rub between it and the spey.   Either one will snap closed when the other is open, but neither will snap closed crisply every time if it slides against the other.  Both secondary blades have been polished to match the appearance of the new Main blade.

I have carried and used this knife lightly since the repair.  It works well and holds a great edge.  All blades are tight with no wobble.
