Group of 5 American Switchblades, Used. I am new to Pre-Ban American Switchblades and am learning as I go. I always do my best to give accurate information about the knives I sell including what it is and the condition of the knife. Sometimes I make mistakes so please let me know if what I say is innacurate or misleading. 

One helpful thing for me getting into older American Switchblades is that I am friends with the guy that wrote the book on these knives so I have him as a resource. He's been very helpful with knowledge on descriptions and values however he also (rarely!) makes mistakes. 

Wow, ok about the knives: 

Schrade Fishtail (7.25 inch total length, 3.25 inch blade)- Used, the handle has damage at the top pins on both sides with a tiny piece missing on the back top right pin. The handle and bolsters have light scratches, nicks and patina. The blade looks mostly full, has scratches & patina and was lightly cleaned. It functions well, little bit of blade play and has a working safety. 

Shur-Snap Bowtie Fishtail (7.25 inch total length, 3.25 inch blade)- Used, the handle has slight scale loss. There are light scuffs & scratches on the handle and bolsters. The blade looks full with light patina and scratches. It functions ok, has blade play and a working safety. 

Edgemaster Fishtail (7.25 inch total length, 3.25 inch blade)- Used, there are light scuffs & scratches on the handle. The handle also has a few tiny cracks. The blade looks mostly full, has scratches & patina. It functions ok, has lots of blade play and a non working safety. Sometimes the blade only fires part way. I find that if I press lightly on the button it seems to work better. 

Press Button Double Blade (5.25 inch total length with main blade open, 2 inch main blade, 1.25 inch secondary blade)- Used, it has replacement scales on the handle. There's a small piece broken off on one side of the handle. It has scratches & scuffs on the scales. The blades look mostly full to me with scratches, scuffs and patina. The larger blade will fire open and will usually bounce back and not lock up. The smaller blade does not open all the way. Both blades have play when open. 

Hammer Brand (6 inch total length, 2.5 inch blade)- Used, there are scuffs, scratches and patina on the handle and bolsters. There is blade loss from sharpening. It has scratches, scuffs and patina. It functions good, has blade play and a non working safety.
