Unofficial Scout Camp/Utility Folding Pocket Knife with One Cutting Blade and 3 Tool Blades with Four Tools, with a Barely Used or Sharpened Carbon Steel Spear Point Main Blade with a Long Nail Pull, a Carbon Steel Combination Blade with a Cap-Lifter (Bottle Opener) and a Flat Blade Screwdriver, a Carbon Steel Can Opener Blade, a Carbon Steel Leather Punch Blade, a Great Set of Brown Jigged Bovine Bone Scales in Perfect Condition with No Cracks, Splits or Missing Chips, a Shallow Easy Open on the Top Rear Scale to Allow Easier Opening of the Leather Punch, a Brightly Polished Nickel Silver Gimp Style Shield Centered on the Front Scale and Stamped SCOUT, Three Brightly Polished Brass Handle Pins in Each Scale, Brightly Polished Nickel Silver Single Fluted and Rounded Bolsters, the Original Nickel Silver Shackle Still Riveted to the Bolsters, Brightly Polished Brass Liners with a Thicker Heavy Duty Brass Center Liner, Two Heavy Duty Steel Back Springs with No Cracks or Breaks, 3 5/8” in Length, Made by the Schrade Cutlery Co in Walden, New York and Made Between c.1917-1946 and is 3 5/8” in Length.

This is a Vintage Schrade Cutlery Co 4-Blade Unofficail Scout Camp/Utility Knife. This knife that has been well taken care of over the years. The knife has one cutting blade and four very useful tools on the three other blades. The knife has a barely used or sharpened carbon steel spear point main blade with a long nail pull. The front face has just a few very scattered light stains. The rear face has several clusters of light staining with embedded micro-pits. Stamped on the front tang is SCHRADE (over) CUT. CO. (over) WALDEN N.Y.  Next to the spear blade is a carbon steel combination blade consisting of a cap-lifter, or bottle opener, and a flat blade screwdriver. Both faces have a few light scratches and light stains but both faces polished up well. On the other end of the knife is a carbon steel can opener blade. It is mechanically sound with only some light scattered staining. The last blade is a carbon steel leather punch. It’s completely intact with the factory tip still in place where often times the tip is broken off. It has a few very light stains but still polished up brightly. All four blades have hard and loud metal on metal “clack” alligator snap. This knife has an excellent plus set of medium brown jigged bovine bone scales with that beautiful early Schrade jigging. They’re in perfect condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips. There’s a shallow easy open on the top of the rear scale to allow for easier opening of the leather punch. There is a brightly polished nickel silver gimp style shield centered on the front scale. Stamped deeply into the shield is SCOUT. The knife has brightly polished nickel silver single fluted and rounded bolsters. They’re free of any dents or dings. The original shackle is still attached to the bolsters. The knife has brightly polished brass liners with a thicker heavy duty center liner on the bottom. The knife has two heavy duty steel back springs with scattered pitting. They are free of any cracks or breaks and both continue to perform the functions they were designed to perform. This great old vintage 4-blade Schrade Cut Co Camp Unofficial Scout or Camp/Utility Knife is 3 5/8” in length. The knife was made in the Schrade factory which was located in Walden, N.Y. and made between c.1917-1946. Additional photos or information on request.
