This vintage SCHRADE WALDEN PARATROOPER auto knife has a steel liner with brass pins holding down the  jigged synthetic orange handles and are in great condition with no chips or cracks. Some signs of being 'played' with, maybe honed once if that. Faint fraction marks on master blade.  The SCHRADE WALDEN pocket knife has one clip point blade and one shute blade.   The master blade opens quickly and locks up, and  is tang stamped SCHRADE over WALDEN over N.Y. U.S.A over STAINLESS on the front.    There are no other numbers visible on the blade.The safety works stopping the button from being pressed.    The shute blade also opens and closes nicely with no blade wobble and an excellent snap.  The closed length of the knife is 4 ¼ inches.The bail is stainless. Oil is the secret to this automatic knife working well. This was a govt. contract knife so it was made good enough for that purpose! Smoke free garage. Happy to take your check or money order.
