Gustav Branner Stag Handle Auto

This knife isn’t as new, never carried and never re-sharpened condition. I carried it for awhile. The blade is 3-5/8” tip to tang, with an overall length of 8”when fully opened. It has the greatest tang stamp I’ve seen on a knife. (Look at the images.) With outstanding Stag scales / handles, nickel bolsters and brass liners. The spring on this knife is very strong and it takes a few times to master it. Please hold it tightly to the back spring side. And make sure your fingers and hand are clear of it opening. The first time I opened it, it went flying out of my hand. I would recommend you open it a few times over a carpet to get the hang of it. The blade does have a couple of mi-nute blade scrapes, Please look at the images. But it is still very sharp. The blade release works good and the safety doesn’t slip down. Not once did I have the knife open in my pocket. The stag scales are very nice with good definition that you see in quality stag knives. I was told that the maker is named Gustav Branner, an Italian craftsman who made these for the German market. Which I think is kinda strange because of all the quality Autos currently being made in Germany. You don’t see many of these knives around. You just gotta love that tang stamp.
