NOS Rare hard to find vintage Italian "Rosa Uliana Primo" made OTF trapdoor automatic switchblade knife made in maniago Italy between 1962-1963, this is the second model made with the wire tensioner added for trapdoor, second model made also has slightly larger bolsters , this knife was found around 15+ years ago in attic of old warehouse where these were made back in 1962 or 63 in Maniago Italy, NOS never fixed or repaired or a factory second, this is the Brazilian cow-horn handled model with chrome plated brass frame ,slight corosion on frame at bottom of knife (see pictures) so being sold at discount , brass pins secure the brazilian horn handles, does have lite scratches here and little roughness on edge of horn on back handle , knife measures 8-1/4" in open position , stainless steel blade stamped ( C.Jul Herbertz Import) on front tang and  ( Patent Rostfrei) on back tang ,  original red dot safety , nickel/silver button and safety cap,lite scratches here and there on handles and bolsters as well ,everything works as intended. these work by pointing downwards push button blade will eject automatically and lock open, to close turn knife upwards push button blade will fall back into handle , once blade is down then use trapdoor to push blade down to cock it for next firing. knife is NOS and is in "as found" condition never cleaned or polished ,good spring on this one ,everything works as intended, being sold "as is" , any questions please ask. Note this is NOT one found recently another seller is selling with re-made trapdoors and fixed this is NOS never fixed or repaired by anyone and is " 100% all original"  .
