New York Knife Co. Walden Utility Jack

This knife is a bit of a mystery to me.  I have been told it was likely military issue during the WWI era, but I am unable to verify that information.  This knife measures a hefty 4 15/16 inches closed.  The main spear blade is approximately 4 inches long.  Both the spear blade and the can opener/cap lifter/ straight screwdriver blade have half stops and bear trap snap opening and closing.  The tang is stamped on both sides of the main blade.  The mark side bears the Hammer Brand stamp.  The pile side is stamped New York Knife Co. Walden.  My research indicates, based on the tang stamps, that this knife would have been produced somewhere between 1882-1931.  Pins are peened so likely this knife was made prior to 1920.  That certainly falls within the time frame for World War I production.  The handles are jigged wood and there is a hairline pin crack on the pile side barehead end.  Overall condition of this knife is amazing considering its age.

If you're not happy, I'm not happy.  If for any reason you are not satisfied with this knife you may return it in the same condition for a full refund of the purchase price.
