If you like old time American cutlery you're going to love this one.  It's a New York Knife Co. Hammer Brand cigar jack.  It features those classic New York Knife Co. jigged bone handles that are instantly recognizable.  The blades are full or nearly so, and open and close with good snap and no blade wobble.  The main clip blade has a long pull and is nicely swedged.  The nickel silver bolsters are grooved giving the knife yet another touch of class. Knife measures approximately 3 3/8 inches closed.  New York Knife Co. was considered by many to have been America's top knife maker during the era they were producing knives like this one.  It's not hard to see why.
