BLADE WEAR:   Blade has been used, but I don’t think it has been sharpened since it left the factory.

ADDITIONAL INFO:      One writer of military knives said he thought this knife was made by Ulster. It is all steel internal construction. The all steel internal construction and the safety can opener indicates this was not made early in World War II. Due to shortages of brass most manufacturers went to all steel construction in 1943. This knife has the safety can opener, which we know was standardized to 1944. I see no cracks in the bone handles and the clevis is still intact on this knife. All in all it’s one of the best examples of the World War II military engineers knife I have seen in a while. I have several and I am refocusing my collection more to Camillus than Ulster.
