Just to clear things up a bit, R.J. Richter, the grandfather, lived in Arlington MA in the 1920's and imported cutlery from Germany and Italy. His merchandise was high class as this twpo blade folder will attest to. 4" closed, I don't see any sign of use, both sheep's foot and pen blades have an alligator snap both ways, no wobble just snap!The nickel bolster is pinned. Brass liners and pins that hold down the black composite handles. How old? it could be pre WWII but most likely early 50's. The grandfather and son were in business together in Arlington.
