Made in the 50s, this Japanese picklock measures 7 inches overall length. It is D stamped with a bayonet blade which has never been sharpened, retaining its factory edge. Blade has only some light use scratches and the typical drag marks. Black bakelight scales have a crack adjacent to the firing button and a hairline on the back scale by the lower pin. But scales are solid to the knife, do not move and feel solid too. Everything works as it should... lockup is perfect without wobble and when closed, blade sits nice, deep and centered without peek. Safety works too. Overall a nice knife which is the precurser to the Japanese Rizzuto and will make a nice addition to any collection. These are increasingly difficult to find.
