Made in Solingen, Germany! 

This stockman was made by Widow Creek, which is a more obscure line of Bull Brand knives. Frank Buster and Joe Lauderdale produced them in the same factory as other high end knives of that era, such as German Bull and Fight'n Rooster. Collectors who have had the privilege of owning or handling Widow Creek knives tend to hold their quality in the same regard.

This knife is just too cool, with the eye catching color and pattern of the scales. There are no chips, cracks or scratches. There is one spot with some shrinkage (see pics - the photo looks much worse since I got the worst close up angle) All of the blades have great snap, with no wobble or play. Each blade appears to have never been used, carried or sharpened. Factory edges all around. There are some very small spots of rust here and there. I have not attempted to clean them up, as I do not want to cause any irreversible damage. The bolsters have very light wear marks.

This stockman pattern comes with the standard clip, spey and sheepsfoot blades. The overall length is approx. 3.75 inches, with the main clip blade measuring in at approx. 3 inches. The main blade has an awesome "Widow Creek" blade etch, and tang stamp on the mark side, with a "J Lauderdale Cutlery Solingen Germany" stamp on the pile side. The 2 secondary blades have a "Widow Creek" stamp on the pile side.

Stainless blades and springs. Celluloid scales. Nickel Silver bolsters, pins and shield. Brass spacer and liners. 

This is just a fantastic looking knife with great quality to back it up. Thank you for your interest.
