Rare 1960's Ackermannchen Switchblade Knife, Made In Italy, Unused. Hard to find Ackermann Automatic in a smaller size, 7 inch. I rarely see these offered for sale and have never seen this smaller size anywhere.

These were made in Italy and sold there and other European markets. It has a unique opening system described as "Unusual torsion spring mechanisn" by Mr Bill DeShivs. It's marked INOX over PATENT on the front tang with not other markings. It functions great and is a beautiful looking knife!

- Looks unused to me. There are signs of handling and poor storage such as light scuffs and scratches on the handle and blade. Has a few light patina spots on the blade. The blade is off center when it's closed. I don't see any other condition issues. Please see the pictures as they represent the condition accurately. 

- Functions great, fires strong and the safety works. Opens with a torsion spring mechanisn and has a backlock to close the blade. 

- 7 inch total length, 3 inch blade. 

- Knife only.
