E.Bruckmann Ohligs Solingen 5" Closed Jigged Bone 2 Blade Mint Mirror Polish Bail Brass Liners
Bruckmann (Bridge-man) had been in the cutlery business since the 1850's and closed in 1956 when Paul Bruckmann passed. However, it is doubtful any knives were made after 1930. This knife is mint, mirror polished with dark brown jigged bone handles and sports a bail. It has brass liners and 3 brass pins hold down the handles. Both blades are tang stamped and the master blade has the old pre war logo E. Bruckmann/Ohligs/Solingen; Ohligs being a location in Solingen. Never honed, loud snap, no play.
