PIC Skinner With Original Sheath Puma Made Early 50's 9 1/2" OAL Light Use Wood Handle Blade Etch
Precision Imports Co., PIC, was one of several US importers who purchased knives from Wingen, Puma and Henckels in such large amounts that the maker's name was not on the knife. This knife was, no doubt, made by Puma. The hole in the handle and blade etch are giveaways. Wicked blade curve, with thumb grooves, the false edge can be honed to a sharp edge. Tang stamped PIC Solingen Germany and 945 on the reverse. Huge Cocobolo wood handles held down by 3 nickel; pins. Original sheath with some loose stitching. Light use, no damage or repairs.
