DESCRIPTION: This is a wonderful c.1909 bone handle Union Cutlery Company Company Hobo fork and knife pocket knife. The knife tang is stamped with the rare Union Shield. In addition, the shield on the front of the knife is the standard Union Shield. The knife measures approximately 3-3/4" closed. Both handles are solid with no cracks or hairlines in the bone. Knife blade show light age patina but no sharpening marks. The knife shows no abuse and is in excellent condition, in my opinion. Both the knife and fork have a very strong snap both opening and closing. Both bone handles are a great match in color ad jigging. The knife is as found. It has not been buffed, polished, cleaned or monkeyed with in any manner. If you like them the way they are found, then you will quite pleased with this one.
