Vintage 1990s KA-BAR 1233 Hunter/Skinner knife with a custom hand made hand tooled and hand stitched heavy leather sheath, precisely made for this exact knife. It also comes with the original leather sheath from the factory, which is also in excellent condition. The knife is practically brand new; it has never been carried, never used and never sharpened. It still has the razor sharp factory edge. The 43/8” mirror polish, hollow ground DIN 1.4116 or X50CrMoV German steel is popular steel for high corrosion resistance, strength and good mechanical properties. It is similar to AUS but with better corrosion resistance. Polished stacked leather handle with ergonomic finger grooves for comfort and better control and polished pommel and brass guard. The thumb ramp with jimping and the trailing point offer excellent skinning control. Together with the custom sheath this combination is something you can be proud to own and carry.
