BLADES:   Single carbon steel Sod Buster blade

LINERS:   Steel

BLADE ETCH:  SPECIAL (A in a graphic) – ART. ULLIS/TACOMA 7, WASH.

TANG STAMPS:  Front- a graphic, perhaps a peacock?   Rear stamp: SOLINGEN/GERMANY

CONDITION:   Excellent

DAMAGE:   Normal use and wear, some staining of the blade and one little spot of spidering.

BLADE WEAR: Appears to be within 2-3% of being full. It has been sharpened before.

SNAP:   Very strong snap

MADE IN:   Solingen Germany

ADDITIONAL INFO:     Art Ullis was a sporting goods and cutlery importer and wholesaler based in Tacoma Washington. The company went out of business sometime in the late 1970s or early 1980s. This information was posted here on AAPK and an old thread called Art Ullis folder.

According to another thread from Blade Forums the company was quite extensive in fishing equipment, rods, fish knives, one poster on BF thought the Eye Brand was the possible German manufacturer of an Art Ullis folder in that forum.
