This little peanut is just too nice to pass up.  Measures 2 3/4" closed OAL.  Made in Seki Japan back in the 80's or 90's by Master Seizo Imai for the Taylor Cutlery Co.  This peanut features some very thick stag handles, which are chip and crack free.  The stainless blades are unused and have never been resharpened.  There are some rub marks on the main blade from contact w/ the liner.  The run up is tight and centering is good.  This knife is a little clunky opening and closing, which I think will loosen up over time.  What I mean by that is that when you open the blades they stay in place moving past the 90 degree mark and don't just naturally click open.  When closing the blades once you pass the 90 degree mark you have to keep pushing until you reach about the 45 degree then the blades snap shut from there, I hope that is clear?  I think this shows some of the early work of Master Imai and isn't the highest quality knife that he produced.  It is a part of the Imai story and long history w/ American companies from that time.  No box.  Free shipping within the USA
