This is a scarce vintage folding knife made in Seki, Japan by Master Seizo Imai circa 1980s-1990s. It is branded Imax, his own personal brand, which he reserved for the finest knives that he made. It features well matched stag handles, which are chip and crack free.  With nickel silver bolsters and 440 stainless steel blade that has never been used or sharpened.  Measures right at 3" closed OAL.  Brass liners and pins w/ high polish on the backspring.  Locks up tight w/ no wobble or play. This is an excellent quality made knife, check out the "run up" where the blade and backspring meet.  Master Seizo Imai was one of  Seki, Japan's finest craftsmen and most famous knifemakers of the modern era. His collaboration with Parker spanned nearly two decades.
