This is a vintage Japanese crafted pocket knife made in Seki, Japan by Master Seizo Imai circa 1980s for Parker. It features a beautiful hardwood handle, that is chip and crack free.  The stainless steel blade is 440 stainless and has not been used or sharpened. Measures 4 3/4" closed OAL.  This is an excellent quality made knife with a tight runup (where the blade and backspring meet).  Gorgeous engraved nickel silver bolsters.  Comes in a box, not the original, with sheath marked Parker Imai. Seizo Imai was one of Seki Japan's finest craftsmen and most famous knifemakers of the modern era. His collaboration with Parker spanned nearly two decades. He made knives for Parker, Frost, Browning, Explorer, Compass, Condor, and many others, including his own brands Imax and Seizo Imai.  Master Imai passed away in 2014.  This is one of several knives that were discovered in his warehouse recently.  Free shipping w/in the USA.
