This is a beautiful cocobolo handled lockback from A.G. Russell.  Made in Japan most likely around 1990 but uncertain for sure of the age.  The blade is a beautiful San Mai Damascus.  San Mai means that the Damascus stainless steel is jacketed on a core of other stainless steel, most likely AUS 8 or AUS 6.  The bolsters are Damascus stainless steel.  The liners and and backspring are stainless steel.  The cocobolo handles do show some handling marks on them but otherwise they are chip and crack free.  The blade has the original sharpness and has not been used or sharpened, it's hair shaving sharp.  The only issue with this knife is a slight wobble in the blade when in the open locked position.  If you look at the picture of the "run up" (where the blade and backspring meet), you will see a very small gap on one side of the backspring, that's what's causing the wobble and it's very slight and won't affect the functioning of this knife.  This knife has a nick in the riccasso which is A.G.
