CONDITION:   Excellent to Near Mint

DAMAGE:   Normal wear and use. I don’t see a lot of scratches from someone attempting to sharpen the knife. The blade does have a very nice patina.

BLADE WEAR:             Blade appears to me to be full.

AGE:     Probably made around the World War II.

ADDITIONAL INFO:             This is a beautiful knife, one of the nicest looking factory knives I think I’ve seen in a long time. It appears it is been used very little and really didn’t need any care apart from washing the blade with Dawn dishwashing liquid. It has a beautiful saber ground blade. The sheath from what I have seen of other Western made Craftsman knives is the original sheath with the white lacing. Someone has removed about an inch of the white lacing at the bottom the sheath and replaced it with brown leather lacing and strong some beads on it. The only thing I see wrong with this knife and the sheath is a cut on the handle strap. This knife is a great combination of beautiful jigged bone, excellent design & workmanship and a blade made from some of the finest carbon steel ever made (in my opinion and the opinion of many others). I don’t think this one will be in my store long.
