CONDITION:   Excellent

DAMAGE:   Normal wear, scratches, dings, & dents to bolsters, handles & blades. It appears some young scout tried to scratches initials in the front bolsters, but was not extremely effective. It would probably puff out, but I leave that up to the new owner since it’s part of the history of the knife.

BLADE WEAR:   The spear blade is 95+ % full. Blades have patina and there was a spot of surface rust on the screwdriver blade, which I cleaned off.

ADDITIONAL INFO:      Based on old scouting advertisement, this knife was made circa 1980-1984. I have heard speculation that this knife and several others with white Delrin handles shown in the advertisement, were actually made by Camillus Cutlery Company instead of Ulster Knife Co. Having seen the advertisement I am prone to agree that Camillus probably made some if not all of the white handled Ulster scout knives. Camillus Cutlery Company and Ulster knife Company were both owned by the same person in the 1980s, Albert Baer. The last knife I am aware of produced with the Ulster name on the tang stamp was a Scout knife almost identical to this one accepted had Brown jigged Delrin handles instead of white. I believe it is likely that Camillus made this knife also.
