CONDITION:  Very good

DAMAGE:   Normal wear, dings & scratches to knife and sheath. There is some pitting on both sides of the blade. This knife would make an excellent knife for a beginning hunter or a great backup or second knife for the experience what’s been.

BLADE WEAR:   The knife is the full 8-3/4” which matches factory specs. There may be slight blade loss from sharpening; less than 10% by my estimate.

ADDITIONAL INFO:   This is a nice user example of  one of Western’s excellent old knife patterns. The sheath with this knife appears to be an original Western sheath. If you want a very high quality knife for not much money that you can put an edge on and take hunting, fishing or camping and not worry about losing an expensive knife, this is a great knife for you. In my opinion Western made some of the finest carbon steel blades ever made. I have not sharpened this knife, though I will sharpen it at no charge if the buyer wishes.
